This project is part of the Yokohama Smart City Project (YSCP) to rebuild aging Tokyo Gas company housing. It is part of the YSCP (Yokohama Smart City Project), which aims to maximize the use of renewable energy and to conduct demonstrations of environmentally friendly technologies. The building is passively designed to allow for airflow, and the openings are designed to eliminate hanging walls in order to prevent heat buildup in the room.
