This 55-meter-long, steel-framed overpass connects the East Exit of Shibuya Station with the Urban Core of Shibuya Hikarie and crosses Meiji-dori Avenue. 55-meter-long overpass was constructed as part of the redevelopment of the area around Shibuya Station, which was designated as an Urban Renewal Emergency Development Area in 2005. The bridge was constructed as part of the redevelopment of the area around Shibuya Station, which was designated as an Urban Redevelopment Emergency Area in 2005. The main structure of the bridge is a steel box girder above the passage, and the lower passage girder is supported from the box girder by a three-dimensional truss and suspension materials, creating a light curtain wall.
