Outline
This is a workshop for experiencing papermaking built in a village on high ground, with the aim of introducing and handing down local traditional techniques. The building is divided into two sections to match the scale of the surrounding houses. Since the work often involves moving between the outdoors and the indoors, a roof was built between the two wings to create a semi-exterior space for storing tools and working. The building was constructed by local craftsmen using locally produced cedar wood.
