Outline
This is a museum and rest area newly built at the outer shrine of Ise Jingu to widely inform people about the history and techniques of the Shikinen Sengu. The roof is made of cast iron with a seamless 11.5-meter length, which was made especially for this building. The roof of the Sengu-kan has a rectangular slope following that of the shrine buildings, while the rest area has a gentle slope.
