This is a project for reconstruction that is being carried out on the grounds of the Horaikan, a long-established inn that was damaged by the tsunami. Three projects are underway: "Sowing Seeds of Cheerfulness," in which the remaining foundation is used as a flower bed and flowers bloom; "A Big Table for Everyone to Gather Around," in which the foundation of the annex, which was washed away, is reused to create a wooden deck in the shape of a staircase overlooking the beach; and an outdoor theater that will serve as a summer camp for the Super Kids Orchestra, led by conductor Yutaka Sado. Three projects are in progress.
