This facility, located in Yonezawa City, Yamagata Prefecture, contains a guest room and a hall built to commemorate the 100th anniversary of Yamagata University's Faculty of Engineering. Because the city is located in an area with heavy snowfall, the building can be used under the eaves even when there is snow in winter. It faces the old main building of Yonezawa High School of Engineering, which is an important cultural property, and in front of the main gate between the two buildings is a 30-meter square plaza commemorating the 100th anniversary.
