NIKKEN HOUSING SYSTEM
Outline
Seven condominiums with 500 units for sale in Koshigaya City, Saitama Prefecture. The project was planned as part of the urban planning for the construction of the Osagami Control Pond and land readjustment. A central hot-water supply system that uses solar heat, which is rare in residential buildings, is adopted, and solar heat panels are installed on the roof. Solar thermal panels are installed on the rooftop of the building, and the boiler in the common area manages the water supply system, eliminating the need for water heaters in each unit. On the other side of the canal leading to the control pond, there is a 132-unit detached residential district called "Bikan no Mori" (Housing Feature 0909), where wind cooled by the canal flows through the entire district.
