SAKURA APARTMENT

Outline
This six-story apartment building is located on a corner lot in Tokyo. The north side of the site is lined with cherry trees, and the east side has a green space. Seven box-like volumes are connected by slabs, and the space between the boxes is used as a common external corridor. Several boxes are combined to form a single unit. By constructing the volume in units of boxes, ventilation and lighting can be secured in every room.
