Reconstruction of a three-year kindergarten in a residential area of Sayama City, Saitama Prefecture. The building is a one-story wooden structure facing south toward the school yard. The kindergarten consists of six nursery rooms and a playroom with two rooms each for children from the youngest to the oldest. In order to use the entire school as a playground, a 2550mm wide "avenue" and a 1000mm wide "pathway" are provided between the rooms. The exterior walls are made of red cedar for durability.
