KOH KITAYAMA+ARCHITECTURE WORKSHOP
Outline
The building is an eight-story complex containing two tenant houses, three rental housing units, and the owner's two-family dwelling. The steel-framed reinforced concrete structure is used to extend the span of the building up to the sixth floor, which is used as a studio, and steel-framed columns are used from the seventh floor onward. The upper floors protrude from the streetscape and are covered with glass screens to reduce their presence.
