A two-family house of brick masonry construction in the suburbs of Shanghai, China. Spaces with an internal dimension of 3 x 3 meters are arranged in a grid pattern. A large kitchen counter is shared by both units, and the entire space is gently shared while maintaining privacy. The house is called "minus K house" because the kitchen is shared between the LDK and K units.
