A pediatric dental clinic in Kamogawa, Chiba Prefecture. The main structure is composed of concrete walls around the perimeter and steel plates for the floor and roof and solid steel pillars to support them. 40mm thick galvanized steel plates with a 300mm overlap are supported by 60mm diameter solid steel pillars. The concrete walls are cast by the URC method (devised by Kenzo Unno), which uses water-permeable fabric for the formwork.
