This is a seismic reinforcement and expansion project for an integrated elementary school. Since the area of the extension exceeds 1/2 of the existing area, the current Building Standard Law is applied instead of the usual Law for the Promotion of Seismic Retrofitting. The existing reinforced concrete building was reinforced with steel frames on the north and south sides. The south extension is a balcony and the north extension is an open space.
