Outline
A wooden silk weaving factory was converted into a movie theater by utilizing the existing trusses. The floor and walls are made of reinforced concrete and are used as seats for the audience. The walls of the kinema are covered with glass wool mats for sound absorption and wooden louvers that resemble the warp threads and looms of silk fabric.
