Every year, students in the Wood Material Laboratory self-build follies for the May Festival at the University of Tokyo. This year, two designs were made under the theme of "shift, stack, and hold". ♯Wing Arch is a bow-shaped unit made of 3mm lauan plywood and square timber, creating two light arches. The following works have been introduced in Shinkenchiku so far.
