KOH KITAYAMA+ARCHITECTURE WORKSHOP
Outline
This is a housing complex with owner-occupied units built in a residential area in Tokyo. The site was inherited and owned separately by two brothers, and two buildings were constructed along the dividing line. The access corridor to each unit is made of grating, which is used as an expansion joint between the two buildings. The upper part of the building is an open room made of glass, and the lower part is a closed room made of concrete.
