RIBBONs / OPEN AIR THEATER

Outline
A canopy has been erected over an outdoor theater in the center of Taichung City, Taiwan. Five RIBBONs overlap each other with slightly different waveforms, and the city behind is transparent between the waves. The existing stage is located below the ground level. Behind the stage, three layers of backstage rooms were newly constructed.
