Gymnasium of a high school in Sano City, Tochigi Prefecture. The height of the volume is kept low while taking advantage of the difference in elevation of the site, and an entrance hall is provided for events other than sports and for opening the building to the community. The walls and ceiling of the arena are seamlessly finished with cinnabar plywood, and there are top lights in the ceiling. The other school buildings of Sano Seicho High School were built by Kitamura Associates (Shuichi Kitamura), but Kitamura passed away, and Yoshihiko Iida took charge of the design.
