In commemoration of the 100th anniversary of Chuo College of Technology, RISE and Building 17 were constructed adjacent to STEP Chuo College of Technology 85th Anniversary Memorial Hall designed by Masako Hayashi (This Journal 9503). Both buildings are made of reinforced concrete with thick walls and floors. "In RISE, two walls support the large roof. The courtyard created by the three buildings connects the various facilities of the Central Institute of Technology scattered on the slope.
