NOBUAKI FURUYA + NASCA
Outline
Renovation of the existing head office building, which consists of three buildings. The building was reinforced against earthquakes and the interior was renovated. Despite the low floor height of 2,900 mm, the three-story atrium communication void created by the reduction of the building is the center of activities, creating an office that induces communication among employees with a comfortable sense of scale. A variety of innovations are integrated into the existing space, including greening, radiant heating and cooling, and natural ventilation.
