Kamikatsu Art Project" was held from October 27 to November 4, 2007. Five artists, Takamasa Kuniyasu, Katsuhiko Hibino, Eco Plawoto, Ritsuko Taho, and Sogabe Laboratory, were in charge of five areas of the town, and each created a work with the cooperation of the local community. Using a lot of local cedar thinnings, they excavate the buried wisdom and relationships of the local people.
