The west elevation of the Toyoda Auditorium, which was completed in May 1960 (Journal 6008), has been renovated and enlarged after almost half a century. It is located at the end of the campus axis, between the plaza in front (west side) and the green space in the rear (east side). The exterior of the building has been restored, the space between the auditorium and the Symposion (completed in 1992, designed by Takenaka Corporation) on the east side of the auditorium has been converted into an indoor atrium, and the performance of the hall has been improved.
