It stands near a mountainous area in the hanshin region. since rusty granite is often found in this area, the exterior is made of split stone and the exterior walls are made of field piled aji stone. the existing forest was left on the west side of the site to create an appearance of being one with the forest. the vegetation includes konara oak, maple, and japanese azalea, restoring the local vegetation.
