This house with restaurant is built on a large site along the national highway in niseko, at the foot of mt. on the southeast side, there is a bank with a height difference of about 5 m. along the contour line at the top of the bank, a 51 m long and 4 m wide single-slope roof is arranged in a gentle s-shape. the bank-side half of the cantilevered roof is a loggia, and the eave height is kept at 1,619mm. the length of the roof is such that it is continuous with the surrounding landscape, and the work seeks proportions that integrate both the body and the landscape.
