The site is located halfway up mt. daisen in tottori prefecture and slopes gently from east to west. considering snow accumulation in winter, the foundation is raised to a height of 1,100 to 1,400 mm above the ground level and backfilled with residual soil under the floor. all proportions of the building are based on the silver-white ratio. for example, the ratio of the total length of the girder side to the height excluding the foundation is 1:√2.
