Outline
The house for the sisters and their father is built on an old retaining wall facing a narrow, hilly, location-designated road. since heavy machinery could not enter the house, it was constructed using conventional wooden construction methods with small-diameter timbers that could be brought in and installed by hand. the building has the appearance of a packed house shape, with decks extending out on both east and west long sides.
