The residence is located in a satoyama in miyama, nantan city. the site is nearly triangular in shape, flatly connected to the road on the north side, with an agricultural canal running 1m lower on the east and south sides. in addition, the chimi valley river flows below to the south. the architecture adopts a pentagonal plan based on the ridge line and the landscape to be taken in.
