Outline
The client, who lost the house where he was born and raised in the tsunami of the Great East Japan Earthquake, relocated to Minamisanriku to build a new house. A vaulted ceiling runs through the center of the building on an axis connecting the mountains to the south and the sea to the north, and 4,700mm high openings are provided on the north and south sides of the building.
