Outline
This house was designed from the viewpoint of climate and public health in a town where the streets are lined with covered carports in a newly developed residential area in a heavy snowfall area. In order to minimize the extent of snow removal in case of snowfall, the eaves are placed overhanging the front road to the maximum extent. In preparation for floods and heavy snowfall, independent wooden pillars are built on top of RC foundation pillars with sufficient rigidity and strength.
