Outline
This house sits on a flagpole site in a sloping neighborhood. The surrounding area was built on top of retaining walls of various heights, and the retaining walls surrounding the site varied in height and strength. A new retaining wall was built at the border of the neighboring land before the design was completed. The approach to the house is located on the front road and the ground floor is an earthen space surrounded by the retaining wall.
