Outline
This 44 x 3.7 m (24 x 2 m) one-story house is located in an area surrounded by rice paddies. In response to the site conditions of a basin and heavy snowfall area, a 430mm high fabric foundation with a span of 1,820mm was used to provide ventilation and storage space for snow fences. The exterior walls are clapboarded with cedar. The 3,640mm span openings at the same locations on the north and south sides of the house provide views of the landscape.
