The building is located in a suburban residential area of a regional city. Divided volumes are arranged to surround the living room with a central atrium in order to suit the diversified lifestyles of the residents. Each volume is vaguely connected by deep eaves, balustrades, and large sliding doors, and is characterized by ceiling heights and openings, so that the volume appears as a mass on the exterior.
