Renovation of a farmhouse that is over 100 years old. The parts of the house that had been expanded and reconstructed over the course of its long history were returned to their original state as much as possible, and the structural reinforcement and insulation performance were increased to improve livability. The part of the kitchen that had been converted into a Western-style room was returned to an earthen floor, and the aluminum sashes and front door that had been renovated in the Showa era were kept intact.
