Outline
The house for a couple is built on the Shirasu plateau, which was formed by the accumulation of volcanic eruptions. The living room and the dining room on the left are placed between the rooms surrounded by curved walls that house various functions, leading to an outdoor terrace and a wooded area. A part of the floor is covered with Shirasu stone to store solar radiation from the south and heat from underfloor heating, the curved walls are plastered with Shirasu, and various Shirasu building materials are used to create a comfortable living environment.
