Outline
This is a plan to build a residential building and a restaurant building on a 5,000 m2 site covered with white birches at an altitude of 1,200 m in the Yatsugatake Mountains. The design is based on the origins of the white birch, which grows while changing its shape to suit various environmental conditions, and is based on a struggle between the distance between life and work, the daily flow line, and the building's program conditions, including the site environment.
