This house with a judo hall stands at a T-junction on the border between a busy street lined with shops and a residential area. The judo hall on the basement floor, which can be seen by passers-by, is a pillarless space, supported by tension beams suspended from the roof in the shape of well girders and pillars placed around the perimeter of the volume.
