Outline
This is a residence for seven people of four generations, built on a large farmhouse site. The dwellings are divided into east and west, and a large, thin roof spans the two buildings. The large roof creates a space that extends the realm of living slightly beyond the scale of a house. The large roof is made of 10-meter-long lumber without joints for the climbing beams, which reduces the cross-section of the members and realizes a thin roof.
