New layer into Yamatomune

Outline
We renovated a minka (traditional Japanese house) with a steeply pitched thatched roof and a tile-roofed fallen wing, called Yamatomune, into a house in a village in the northern Nara Basin. By inserting a new boundary surface in a nested form under the existing thatched roof, the problems of structure, environment, and function are solved.
