The house is located in the suburbs where there is a mixture of houses and rice paddies, and is built on a flagpole site that was created by residential land development. The site is being developed as a residential area and may be surrounded by buildings in the future. The house has light windows, slits and pilotis to let in light, wind and sight lines.
