Built on a hill near the coast of Awaji Island, this ZEH house has a view of the ocean and is covered on the second floor with a double skin of approximately 3,000 Awaji tiles to control solar radiation and ventilation. The geothermal energy is used for all heating and cooling, and the difference in water temperature between the pools is used for all hot water supply.
