Atelier Bow-Wow
Outline
A group of buildings that were once residences and pawnshops were renovated as an event space, gallery, and guest room open to the community. Local carpenters, plasterers, and gardeners participated in the project, and Ise-katagami and Ise-kimono cotton were used, and the network of associations connected to the old houses was renewed through changes in specifications and repairs to accommodate the new residents.
