The building is located in a suburban residential area of a regional city. By arranging the building in an L-shape in relation to the site, three gardens and service areas are created on the east, west, north and south sides. The east garden is set against a backdrop of evergreen cedar and Spanish moss, and a water basin is placed so that it can be seen from the Japanese-style room.
