The building is located in the northern part of Kawagoe's storehouse district. It is a long and narrow plan with a frontage of 3.2m and a depth of 11.83m, and the lattice doors provide a good connection with the town. The edge of the house is connected to the earthen floor by fully opening the lattice doors, and the atmosphere of the town is drawn into the house.
