Outline
The building stands in a residential area with an elevated road covering the front road and the bank of the Arakawa River nearby, where a variety of old and new buildings are mixed together. The color scheme blends in with the townscape, and the louvered scale used in the neighborhood is manipulated and used for the handrails and gates. The unevenness of the walls brings depth.
