This is a renovation of a house in Odaka Ward, Minamisoma City, where the evacuation order due to the Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power Plant accident was lifted in July 2016. When the owner returned to his original home from temporary housing, he wanted a house that was the same size as his original house, but without the second floor, and half the size of his previous house.
