This is a renovation of a nearly 100-year-old row house on a site close to the Philosopher's Path on the east side of Kyoto. the east end of the house is a two-story row of wooden houses. the first floor is used for bedrooms, bathrooms, and a study, while the second floor is used for family gatherings.
