Three Roofs in Kyoto
Norihisa Kawashima + Keika Sato/ ARTENVARCH
Outline
The house is built on a sloping site in Yamashina, Kyoto. Because of the open view to the south, a 1.5 ken (2.7 m) wide terrace is built to enjoy the scenery both inside and outside. Curtains are installed around the perimeter of the terrace to adjust the relationship with the outside.
