Outline
This two-story building with a flat roof is located in a residential area in Tomakomai, Hokkaido. In order to reduce the amount of snow removal work on the ground during the snowy season, the roof is extended to the full building-to-land ratio and external terraces are provided on the north and south sides. The exterior walls are clapboarded with softwood plywood, and the width of the clapboard is gradually widened from the GL to create shadows and visual changes.
