Folding Roof House

Ashida Architect & Associates
Outline
The building stands opposite an area lined with commercial facilities and large-scale office buildings, and the details of the exterior walls, openings, and small eaves are finished to match the urban scale. While adjusting the maximum height of the building due to the sun-shadowing regulations and the ceiling height to secure the fifth floor, the openings to obtain the urban view in front of the building were examined, and as a result, a folded-plate roof that opens on two sides was selected for the fifth floor.
