Outline
This is the architect's own residence, which was renovated from a wooden building over 100 years old. The open space between the three buildings on the site was connected by a single-story wooden structure to form a single building. The floor of the original open-air area is finished with matte black 600mm square porcelain tiles, preserving the memory of the exterior.
